Water proof dog leash for the win!!

I’ve really been liking waterproof dog leashes lately because they’ve made our walks a lot more relaxed and low-stress. Unlike the fabric ones that end up soaked, dirty, or smelling after a while, these are super easy to wipe off and they hold up in pretty much any weather.

What I personally love about them is that I can let the leash drag behind my dog when we’re in safe, open areas. It gives her that “off-leash” feeling where she can wander, sniff, and explore without me having to constantly unclip anything. She gets her freedom, but I still have that safety connection if I need it.

And honestly, the best part is how quick it is to grab (or step on) if I need to. If something comes up—another dog, a distraction, or I just want her closer—I can step on it or pick it up right away. No fuss, no delays, just instant control when I need it.

For me, it’s just been a simple switch that makes walks feel more relaxed while still keeping safety in mind.
